Ms. Cruz....Wow, she is gorgeous!
Here I am trying to take the car picture.. no Mom, I was not driving.. (totally at a stop light :)Do you ever just feel like you have GOT to do something different! I know men don't have this same urge.. but women sure do! New decade, new year, new triathlon season... time for a change. After Clearwater was over, I had already decided months prior, that I was getting a manicure, pedicure, facial and massage. So, needless to say, the accident threw a small wrench in some of those plans.. but it certainly didn't change my need to feel "pampered" for just a small moment of my life. So there I was, in Clearwater, Florida, in a sling, getting my feet done three days after my biggest accident to date. Now, the sling is finally off, and I was getting tired of the strange look of summer highlights growing out in the middle of winter. Someone once told me I looked like Penelope Cruz, and I decided that was probably a good place to start. I brought her into the hair salon (which was swanky, and all the girls were in heels so I knew it had to be good), handed over my $40.00 haircut coupon, and asked Stephanie to give it a whirl.
So, here I am! A chocolate brunette, and loving it!
Maybe I don't look like Penelope, but I'm still pretty happy about it anyway. It's different, and it's semi-permanent (not a "full" commitment) so I'm excited.
Tomorrows trainer ride is at my house and if this snow doesn't stop falling, no one will show. I expect to have seven very close friends over and it should be a blast. It's even Jen's Birthday so there are cupcake rumors flying about!
Have a great weekend everyone!
