Ironman Mont-Tremblant Video - 5th Place Female, 9:23

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”
― Lao Tzu

I'm loved very deeply by those close to me in my life and man, it's pretty awesome.  When I watch this video, I see them.  The years of them encouraging me, helping me, coaching me, mentoring me, believing in me, never giving up on me and being willing to love me despite my many flaws and shortcomings.  What can I say!  I feel very blessed!

Mt. Tremblant was a very special race for me.  You can read about the full day HERE, but the many months of training truly came together better than even I knew was possible.  Kyle was there, my coach, Jesse, was there and it was just one of those days you really hope for when you get up every morning at 5am to jump in a cold pool or jump on your bike for a 4 hour trainer session!

Kyle did an exceptional job capturing the day in a way only he can.  I'm so fortunate that he is willing to take the time and energy to put all of this footage into a form that we can share with the world.  A huge thanks to him for the hours of editing and thought that he put into our first video for awhile!

Things I learned from this video:

I hug people, a lot.  HA! I guess I'm a total hugger.  O well! I hope that's a good thing! What can I say!

Enjoy the recap of the day and thanks again to all those who have helped me along my way.   None of this would be possible without you, especially Kyle!  If you're looking for a little motivation and to get fired up for Ironman Arizona, I think this might be a great place to start!

Hello, I am an age grouper, and IMMT 2014 will be my first 140.6. A Google search of IMMT brought me to your blog, and I am so glad that it did. I really enjoyed watching your short clip on IMMT. Keep up the good/hard work!
